Market Update:

Across the board, the amount of homes sold throughout the DMV has decreased, while the prices at which they sold were high compared to the prior year. The demand for homes isn’t as great as it was a year ago, so there is more room for negotiation on the buyer side.

Prices for rowhomes in DC rose the most over the last 10 years - a whopping 81 percent (52 percent adjusted for inflation). Check out UrbanTurf's analysis of price appreciation for various property types.
